I Can Just Imagine It

January 13th 2011 I walk up to the stage and first time I do is adjust the mic. “Test test one two three…Can you hear me?” K great. Mute strum up and down, up and down. Capo 2 first chord, Em. Come in at bar 5. Nodding my head up and down. Give a little smile to them. Look up to them for a second. All I see is a bright light. There are people but I just can not see them....

Ready to pick up this guitar and start breaking chords and strings. I will take my pick and slice it with the E string as I strum it up and down. I will scream into the mic and make the amps break but bounce the sound back and forth through my ear drums as if they were drums of bass drum. I will hammer down the notes as if I was hitting a cheat code pattern on a controller. I will slide my finger...
